July 12, 2022 @ 1:24 A.M. – While conducting a school check, Officer Jamie Marczak located graffiti on a brick wall of Hazelwood Elementary School. Ofc. Marczak ensured that the proper authorities will remediate the graffiti.

July 12, 2022 @ 8:08 A.M. – A resident of Park Brook Gardens reported that earlier in the morning, at approximately 4:30 A.M., he was assaulted by an unknown male in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Officer George Pilesky investigated.

July 13, 2022 @ 2:01 A.M. – A resident of North Lincoln Avenue reported that she received harassing text messages from an unknown individual(s). Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.

July 17, 2022 @ 2:33 P.M. – A resident of Plainfield reported the theft of an Apple Watch. The watch was reportedly inside of his vehicle, parked in a tow yard on Lincoln Boulevard at the time of the theft. The reported value was $409.00. Officer Colin DeVincenzo investigated.

July 17, 2022 @ 10:22 P.M. – Omar Rios, 30, of Brooklyn, NY was charged with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct following an altercation at Endzone Lounge & Liquors, 425 Bound Brook Road. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.

July 18, 2022 @ 6:07 P.M. – Temitope O. Ajibade, 42, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle crash at the Exxon gas station, 1353 Bound Brook Road. Officer Robert Dangler investigated.

July 19, 2022 @ 6:00 P.M. – A resident of Lincoln Boulevard reported a fraud attempt. She reported that while using the internet, her computer froze and a phone number appeared on the screen, instructing her to call for assistance. After the resident called the phone number, an unknown male advised her that he needed her personal and financial information to resolve the issue. The resident ultimately determined that she was speaking with a scammer and did not suffer any financial loss. Officer Paul Muldowney investigated.

July 20, 2022 @ 7:17 A.M. – The proprietor of Hi-Lite Electrical Services, 424 Lincoln Boulevard reported the theft of two catalytic converters from a Chevrolet C4500 truck. The total reported value was $3,200.00. Officer George Pilesky investigated.

July 20, 2022 @ 8:10 A.M. – The proprietor of R &R Irrigation, 283 Lincoln Boulevard reported a burglary to a fenced in area of the property and an attempted theft of two catalytic converters from an Isuzu NPR truck. Officer Paul Steffanelli investigated.

July 20, 2022 @ 10:19 A.M. – A resident of Lonanbe Drive reported the theft of a Honda CRV. The vehicle was reportedly parked in front of the victim’s residence at the time of the theft. The reported value was $17,000.00. Officer George Pilesky investigated.

July 21, 2022 @ 4:50 A.M. – A resident of Voorhees Avenue reported an online acquaintance threatened to share compromising photographs and videos of him with his family and friends unless payment was made in the amount of $2,000.00. The resident complied with the suspect’s demand, however, the suspect then continued to blackmail him, demanding additional payment. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.

July 22, 2022 @ 9:11 P.M. – A resident of Vogel Place reported a burglary and theft of cash, jewelry, designer bags and clothing from her residence. The total reported value was $50,470.00. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.

July 23, 2022 @ 4:06 P.M. – Jaime R. Barge, 49, of Kenilworth was arrested and charged with DWI, Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle crash in the area of Bound Brook Road and North Lincoln Avenue. Officer Robert Dangler investigated.

As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
