It is the policy of the Middlesex Borough Police Department to respond to calls for service involving animals to provide safety to the public and fairly and impartially investigate, and enforce violations of animal cruelty laws.
The Middlesex Borough Police Department has two officers who have special training and jurisdiction for animal welfare within Middlesex Borough and they will enforce and abide by the provisions of chapter 22 of Title 4 of the Revised Statutes.
