The Middlesex Borough Police Department will hold its 21st Police Youth Academy this summer. The academy will take place from July 7th, 2025 through July 11th, 2025 beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 1:00pm. Eligible recruits must be Middlesex Borough residents entering grades 7 or 8 in September 2025. Applications will be accepted until June 2nd, 2025 and acceptance into the Academy is on first come, first served basis.
Recruits who completed the 19th and 20th Police Youth Academy in 2023 and 2024 are welcome to return for the second phase of the Academy from July 14th, 2025 through July 18nd, 2025, 8:30am-1:00pm, and will be contacted directly by the Youth Academy Staff.
During these weeks of instruction, recruits can expect to learn police procedures and practices as well as participate in physical training. Most importantly, recruits will learn in a healthy environment that promotes PRIDE, INTEGRITY, RESPECT and TEAMWORK.
An Academy t-shirt, pair of shorts, baseball cap and notebook will be distributed and must be worn for each day of the Youth Academy.
