News Release – September 21, 2022

August 30, 2022 @ 7:00 A.M. – Residents of Ashland Road, Chestnut Street and B Street reported motor vehicle burglaries that occurred overnight. All of the involved vehicles were left unlocked and unattended at the time the incidents occurred. Items that were reported stolen included a dash camera, a GPS unit, spare change and credit cards. Officer Paul Steffanelli and Detective Sergeant Daniel McCue are investigating.

August 30, 2022 @ 5:00 P.M. – A resident of Bound Brook Road reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a Honda CRV. The reported loss was $1,000.00. Officer Scott Mulford investigated.

September 3, 2022 @ 4:24 A.M. – Lised D. Naranjo, 27, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle crash in the area of Marlborough Avenue and Howard Avenue. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

September 13, 2022 @ 1:44 A.M. – A resident of Mountain Avenue reported a burglary. Through his investigation, Officer Richard Szymczak determined that the suspects entered a fenced-in yard, gained entry to a shed and attempted to steal a Yamaha Raptor ATV and a Can-Am ATV. The suspects were ultimately unsuccessful and fled the area after they were interrupted by the resident.

As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
