“Wear Pink for a Cause”
The Middlesex Borough Police Department supports the fight against Breast Cancer.
Chief Matthew P. Geist proudly announced that the Middlesex Borough Police Department will again be participating in “Wear Pink for a Cause.” For the sixth year, officers will wear pink as a symbol of their support in the fight against Breast Cancer.
“By wearing pink badges and pins, we want our message to be clear – those in the fight against Breast Cancer are not alone. Throughout our community, we all have been impacted by this disease in one way or another. It is our hope that this support and the contributions made will give comfort to those facing these challenging times in their lives,” said Chief Geist.
Officers will not only wear pink badges and pins but will be making personal donations to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to help support cancer research and programs. For anyone who wishes to support our team, donations can be made at to the American Cancer Society “Making Strides of Central NJ” under the “Donate ” button (Making Strides of Central New Jersey | (acsevents.org). To directly support Middlesex PD’s efforts, use the team name “Middlesex Borough Police Department”.
