News Release – November 1, 2022

October 21, 2022 @ 7:55 A.M. – The proprietor of Green Effects Landscaping reported an overnight theft of tools from an unlocked storage locker of a vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly parked in a commercial lot at 730 South Avenue at the time of the incident. A hedge trimmer, handheld leaf blower, chainsaw, cut off saw and two gas cans were reported stolen. The total reported loss was $3,050.00. Officer Jamie Marczak and Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

October 21, 2022 @ 12:19 P.M. – The superintendent of the Hampton Gardens Apartments reported the theft of copper pipes, reportedly valued at $1,027.69. Officer Jamie Marczak and Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

October 21, 2022 @ 3:15 P.M. – A resident of Grove Avenue reported an overnight theft of tools from an enclosed trailer. The trailer was reportedly parked in front of the resident’s home at the time of the incident and displayed signs of forced entry. Two chainsaws and two drill drivers were reported stolen. The total reported loss was approximately $2,000.00. Officer Jamie Marczak and Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

October 24, 2022 @ 1:15 A.M. – A resident of the Hamiltonian Apartments reported the theft of an electric bicycle from the side of their front porch. The bicycle was reportedly left unlocked and unattended at the time of the incident. Officer Ryan Skow investigated.

October 28, 2022 @ 10:06 A.M. – A resident of Judson Drive reported an overnight theft of a bicycle from their driveway. The bicycle, valued at $800.00, was later recovered in the area of the Middlesex Public Library. Officer Scott Christofides and Officer Joshua Pham investigated.
As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
