December 20, 2022 @ 9:42 A.M. – A resident of Orchard Road reported they were scammed out of $905.96 by what was later determined to be a fictitious loan company. Officer April Menditto investigated.
December 26, 2022 @ 1:02 A.M. – Meagan L. Ackermann, 30, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Mountain Avenue and William Street. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.
December 29, 2022 @ 4:25 P.M. – A resident of Pennsylvania reported their credit card was used to make numerous fraudulent food delivery purchases, totaling $418.36. Officer Joshua Pham investigated.
January 2, 2023 @ 6:58 P.M. – A resident of Beechwood Avenue reported the theft of a Yamaha motocross motorcycle, valued at $3,500.00, from an unlocked shed. It was later recovered in Plainfield. Officer Joshua Pham and Detective Scott Mulford are investigating.
As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
