May 11, 2022 @ 3:54 P.M. – The proprietor of Petroleum 19, 145 River Road reported the theft of $125.00 worth of gasoline. Officer Paul Steffanelli investigated.
May 12, 2022 @ 8:51 P.M. – A resident of Harris Avenue reported that his child’s bicycle, valued at $250.00, was stolen at some point the previous evening. The bicycle was reportedly unattended in front of their residence at the time of the theft. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.
May 14, 2022 @ 8:48 A.M. – A resident of Second Street reported that two tires to his vehicle, valued at $450.00, were slashed at some point the previous evening while parked on Fairfield Avenue. Officer Paul Muldowney investigated.
May 15, 2022 @ 12:39 A.M. – Damian G. Gallagher, 26, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop in the area of South Lincoln Avenue and Bound Brook Road. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.
May 15, 2022 @ 11:03 A.M. – A resident of South Lincoln Avenue reported that her purse was stolen at some point the previous evening while left unattended on her front porch. Officer Paul Muldowney investigated.
May 15, 2022 @ 11:33 A.M. – Three juveniles were observed trespassing in the area of the New Jersey Transit Cedar Avenue Rail Crossing. The juveniles were later turned over to a guardian. Officer Scott Christofides investigated.
May 21, 2022 @ 1:51 A.M. – Christian P. Arroyo-Nunez, 30, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Bound Brook Road and Washington Avenue. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.
May 21, 2022 @ 7:50 P.M. – A juvenile reported that he was extorted by an online acquaintance. The acquaintance reportedly threatened to disseminate a compromising photograph of the juvenile unless he sent them money. Officer James Morley investigated.
May 21, 2022 @ 7:59 P.M. – A resident of Lincoln Boulevard reported that an acquaintance stole her cell phone. The cell phone was later returned to her. Officer Bryan Rodrigues investigated.
May 22, 2022 @ 1:39 A.M. – Luis D. Jimenez-Arias, 33, of Summit was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Bound Brook Road and High Street. Officer James Morley investigated.
May 24, 2022 @ 7:31 P.M. – A resident of Hampton Gardens reported that he was assaulted by an acquaintance on Hawthorne Street. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.
